Steven Sacks

Steven has over twenty years of experience in real property, including extensive experience in REO, national underwriting, federal criminal seizures, and deeds in lieu of foreclosure. He has spent most of his career resolving complex title issues for Virginia and national clients.

At RTS, he handles residential and commercial real estate closings throughout the DMV, and he is a licensed title agent in VA, DC, and MD and notary in VA and DC. He reviews and prepares legal documents. He also reviews and manages all aspects of the settlement process, from review of title, title commitments, settlement statements, contracts, and funding/post-closing matters. In the past, he represented clients in real estate, probate, trusts and estates, and other related matters.

In prior firms, he was the mechanic’s lien agent for his office and handled varied construction projects from start to finish.

He sat on the NVAR attorneys’ committee, forms committee, and finance committee. He is also a member of the real estate division of the VA Bar. He is a member of both the Virginia and District of Columbia Bars.

He graduated from The College of William and Mary (B.A.-Government) and George Mason University School of Law (J.D.)
